The world is a very scary place. The latest iPod or CitiBank card won’t take away the fear that we feel; yet advertisements offer a version of the world, a version of OURSELVES, that is free from fear & pain. Life is happy, beautiful and awesome in the world of COKE and PRADA. Corrupted Propaganda remixes the false promises of real advertisements: “Just Feel Wanted”, “Shhh.”, “Money can’t buy happiness. But it can buy marshmallows, which are kinda the same thing.” C.P. striates the ads, encasing them in plastic subvertising surfaces, both reflecting the environment around ad-space and exposing the insidiousness of the vaporous delusions.

What is it about dancing and other sensual experiences that makes them so wonderful? Through analysis of personal experiences, word associations and research into the Baroque, I came up with a series of physical & visual operations that represented tactile estacy. Initial experiments in 2D, led to a model, then a film.
